Pastoral care is an essential part of any church community and the responsibility of every member of the congregation. BAC however recognizes, like the apostles in Acts 6:1-6, that there is a requirement for a team of people with the gift o pastoral care, to look after the various needs of people both within and outside of the church. This team of people is responsible for providing care to nursing homes, the sick and hospitalized, those who are housebound. BAC’s pastoral care also includes a professional counseling service where this is required, a prayer chain and a prayer team which are available to pray with people after services on a Sunday morning.
